The purpose of CASART is to provide a search and rescue team to assist and aid New York State (NYS) Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) Rangers in search and rescue operations.

The primary area that this organization covers is centralized around Inlet and Old Forge NY. Our area of coverage is large, primarily from Blue Mountain

Lake to Stillwater Reservoir to Forestport and over to Indian Lake.

CASART survives entirely on donations, we are all volunteers but we need funds to cover our basic needs. Please send your tax deductable donations to: The Central Adirondack Search and Rescue Team, PO Box 210 Inlet, NY 13360
