Forked Lake Campground is surrounded by the Sargent Ponds Wild Forest and is located on the east shore of 1248 acre Forked Lake.
Campground Facilities
80 campsites in a well forested wilderness setting. Only 5 campsites are drive-up access. Most campsites are hike-in or boat access only. Campsites have picnic area with tables and fireplaces, pit toilets, boat launch, firewood sales, DEC canoe and boat rentals.
Boating and Fishing
Motor boats, rowboats, and canoes allowed. Rowboat and canoe rental available. Launch area is gravel base, shallow, and unusable for large boats. The launch is mostly used by small boats or car top boats and canoes. Good opportunities for fishing exist in this area. Major species in Forked Lake are: Brook trout, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, bullhead, yellow perch, pan fish and occasional brown trout.

Adirondack Experience, the Museum on Blue Mountain Lake is 14 miles east. The Wild Center in Tupper Lake is 33 miles north.
The villages of Long Lake (8 miles), Blue Mountain Lake (13 miles), Indian Lake (24 miles) and Raquette Lake (26 miles) are all nearby.
