Celtic Ceilidh
Come and go all day at this festive, cultural, multi-faceted event!
Pronounced /kālē/, a Celtic Ceilidh is a social event involving music, storytelling, dancing and singing, and this Adirondack Celtic Ceilidh will be no different!
Where: The Long Lake Town Hall
When: Sunday, March 16 from 11 am - 4 pm
Schedule of Events
- 11:30-12:30 pm: North Country Fair performs traditional Celtic music featuring guitar, bass, cittern and more.
- 1-2 pm: “Celtic Music Session”. All are welcome to bring an instrument to jam with the band and others or just listen along.
- 2:30-4 pm: Contra Dancing set to lively Celtic music from North Country Fair. All ability levels are welcome and instruction will be provided for first timers. Ages 12 and up. Come to dance or just listen and watch.
Refreshments available for purchase from the Long Lake Lions Club.
All proceeds go to the Long Lake Lions Club and are used to fund programs in Long Lake throughout the year.
