Free Magic Show & Magic Workshop with The Great and Powerful Dave!
The Old Forge Library invites both the young and the young-at-heart to chase the winter blues away with some magic!
Magic Show

Dave has visited Old Forge twice and performs at summer reading programs at libraries all over the state always with a positive audience response. He presents a high-energy show packed with magic, comedy, puppets, and audience participation. His shows run the gamut from celebrating reading and helping to build character, to teaching non-violent responses to bullying in a fun, upbeat way that kids can relate to and that adults find entertaining.
Dave became interested in magic as a child growing up in western New York. He then spent several years as a character actor on Philadelphia-area stages, then as a TV & film actor in Hollywood before returning to New York state to raise his family. Dave has appeared in over 50 TV episodes and movies, including Seinfeld, Friends, Will & Grace, and Legally Blonde.
The program is free and open to all!
