About Bill
Phil Bayly is an award-winning television journalist and author of the Murder on Skis Mysteries.
He has authored six novels under the Murder on Skis banner. His latest is A Small Mountain Murder.
Prior novels, both The Man Who Had 9 Lives and Back Dirt, were finalists for The American Fiction Award.
Phil spent 42 years in television and radio newsrooms from Colorado to Wyoming to Pennsylvania to New York.
He was a reporter and anchor in the state capital of New York State. Many viewers remember him as anchor of the popular morning news on Newschannel 13 WNYT-TV in Albany, New York.

Phil Bayly was born and raised in Evanston, Illinois. He lived a long time in Colorado. He currently resides with his wife in Saratoga County, New York.
