For being located near a main road, Lewey Lake is peaceful and full of fishing opportunities. 

Fishing in Lewey Lake

Northern pike, brown trout, lake trout, and smallmouth bass are found in Lewey Lake. The weed bed at the southern end of the lake is where the pike hang out. The deep water in mid-lake is where the brown trout and lakers are found. Work the rocky shoreline for small mouth bass.

How to get there

A beach launch for smaller boats is located at the Lewey Lake State Campground on Rt. 30, 14 miles north of the village of Speculator.
