Hiking to Lower Sargent Pond
As you near Grass Pond, which starts appearing on your left at about 1 mile, the trail turns marshy and veers to the west around beaver flows. After descending towards Lower Sargent Pond, you'll reach an intersection. Straight will bring you around the loop to Upper Sargent Pond; right brings you to Lower Sargent Pond. Then a left will bring you over to the lean-to location on this heart shaped pond, which is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
