This is an easier trail that passes Upper and Lower Ponds, with a final destination of Sucker Brook Bay on Raquette Lake. It is also used as a mountain biking trail.

Hiking and mountain biking

You'll follow the Sucker Brook Bay trail for around 0.9 miles, and continue straight at the junction. Another 2.4 miles and you'll be at the bay, where there is a designated primitive tent site here. Adding the loop around Lower Brown Tract Pond on your way back adds 2 miles and around 100 feet of gain, and will bring you past the campground.

Winter

Winter access is not recommended, as Uncas Road is a snowmobile trail in the winter.

How to get there

Access to this trail from Raquette Lake is found past Brown Tract Pond Campground. You'll take a left onto Uncas Road at an intersection that has a large sign for Brown Tract Pond Campground and Day Use Area. Follow for 2.8 miles until the parking spot.
