2015-2016 Winter Events

As the cold sets in you may want to bundle up and wait the winter out - but then you would miss out on so many great events going on in the heart of the Adirondacks! From ice fishing to snowmobiling to winter festivals, there are so many things to choose from! (Click on each event name for more information)

American Snowmobiler Dynotech Research Shoot Out - December 11

Returning to Inlet, this is a huge event with races starting at 11am! The Ole Barn will be hosting a lunch buffet with a live telecast and audio from the race track!

Inlet Barnstormers poker run - January 22-23

Stop by any sponsor to pick up your card, then visit as many sponsors as possible! Bring your stamped card to Daikers by 5:15 pm on Saturday, January 23rd. Each hand played costs $10. Play for your chance to win!

Adirondack Ice Bowl Pond Hockey Tournament - January 28-31

This 3-day tournament is filled with fun things to do! With games to watch, on-ice concessions, an ice bar, shanty grill, and live music you are guaranteed to have a blast!

Frozen Fire and Lights Festival - February 27

Get warm by the bonfire, build a ride for the cardboard sled race, make your own stuffed animal, have your face painted at the Inlet Town Hall, or set off on the Kitty Cat Fun Runs - wow, there are so many fun activities to participate in! The festival will conclude with fireworks, followed by a wine and chocolate sampling at Matt's Draft House and live music at The Woods Inn!

Snowmobile Hill Climbs at Oak Mountain - December 5

The races start at noon and last all day. Come check out the sleds racing up hill all while competing for cash prizes.
